Wayne is a pianist for over 20 years, since the age of 3. He completed his Grade 8 practical at age of 10, ATCL Diploma at age of 12.

He continue his music education and graduated from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, United Kingdom with a Bachelors Of Music in Piano Performance (First Class Honours).

He’s also a piano teacher to many kids and adults, ranging from leisure lessons to Grade 8 ABRSM examinations. He is also an accompanist for other instrumentalist (singers, violinists, violists, cellists etc) taking exams and competitions.

 

Wayne is an accredited clinical hypnotherapist specializing in anxiety, pain removal, emotions, and self-confidence & self-esteem. He’s also a Certified Life Coach by the Manchester College of Clinical Hypnotherapy, United Kingdom.

As a pianist himself, he understands how exam anxiety and performance nerves can be crippling to the performer.

His deep knowledge in hypnotherapy and psychology allowed him to help his students improve their rate of learning, gaining confidence and resilience while minimising their performance and exam anxieties.

This allowed his student to achieve performances – a skill transferable to other areas in life.

Wayne was invited to lecture at the Kaunas Piano Festival in Lithuania in 2018 and 2019, coaching participants how to minimise stage anxiety and to boost confidence and trust in themselves.

He was also invited as a guest lecturer at Alion Baltic International Music Festival in Riga, Latvia, to share with participants how to overcome and unlearn performance anxiety.

Wayne currently conducts lessons at his home studio at Yishun. He also conduct lessons at student’s place in the northern area of Singapore.
